Ride Asia with Nino & Kohei is announced for 12–13 December 2026 at AKKI Bike Park in Hong Kong. According to Asia Union TCS Racing Team’s published release, AKKI Bike Park / AKKI MTB Group is organizing the weekend, with Nino Schurter and Kohei Yamamoto scheduled to participate.

The announced format combines XCO racing, riding activities and community time. Guest participation and riding formats remain subject to final arrangements. This is a preview of a future event, not confirmation that every advertised session or appearance will go ahead.

The official registration website could not be retrieved during our 14 October editorial check. That does not establish that the event is canceled or that entries are closed. It means we cannot present the earlier fee table, capacities or registration deadline as freshly verified information.

Choose the activity before booking the trip

Ask the organizer which activities are open to you and what level of experience they require. Racing, spectating and a guided or organized ride can have different entry conditions. A place in one activity should not be assumed to include another.

If you are attending with family, request the final guidance for children’s activities, spectators and any capacity restrictions. A promotional image showing a famous rider is not a guarantee of a personal ride, photograph or signing opportunity.

A practical checklist for visiting riders

  • Obtain confirmation of your entry and the activity it covers.
  • Check the latest meeting point, arrival time and organizer contact.
  • Ask what bicycle, protection and experience are required.
  • Confirm how changes, weather disruption or cancellation will be communicated.
  • Review your own transport, accommodation and bike-carriage arrangements before committing.

Keep the organizer’s local event times separate from flight and accommodation confirmations. Hong Kong and the Philippines use UTC+8, but a booking document may display the departure airport’s local time. This guide does not verify an individual traveler’s entry requirements or insurance coverage.

Keep the photographs in context

The archived Nino Schurter image is credited to Piper Albrecht and described as Lenzerheide in 2025. The Kohei Yamamoto image is credited to Satoshi ODA. Neither should be presented as a photograph taken at the December 2026 event. Their original credits remain attached; reuse permission still needs the owner’s confirmation.

More riding and racing context

Our community-riding guide offers questions for any unfamiliar organized outing. If XCO and short track are new to you, the Mathis Azzaro and Sina Frei race recaps explain which YongPyong results they cover.

Before traveling, follow the official event page or contact the organizer for a current answer. A useful preview helps readers prepare; it should not turn provisional arrangements into a promise.
